LUCY PEVETO

Lucy Peveto is an artist and former attorney who seeks to show how lives can be transformed.  Her personal symbolism, the butterfly, represents her own life experience: the connection between creativity, emotion, and spirituality.

TAYLOR LANE

Based in San Antonio, Texas, Taylor Lane is a single mom leaning into art as a means of healing and to share her story of trial, trauma, and triumph through creative expression. She studied sustainable rangeland ecology at Texas A&M University and has an extensive background in the art of dance. Taylor finds time to balance life as a new mom, working as a magazine editor, and healing through art.

Taylor is a mixed media artist who favors acrylic, oil, and spray paint. She is inspired by Texan imagery and vibrant colors like the fiery pink and orange hues that light the sunset. Her painting style might be described as controlled chaos. With wild and striking elements conveyed as a balanced and intentional final piece, her art is representative of her story. Although her personal journey to the “final piece” is one that is constantly evolving, the chaos and hardship of her past have pushed her to finding the peaceful joy that is “blossoming” today – in life and in her art.

ISABELLE LOPEZ-KOTARA

Acrylic and mixed media painter. Isabelle has painted for her own personal pleasure all her adult life. It has always been a form of expression and a way to capture her thoughts and perceptions of the world around her. In the last 3 years, she has begun seriously pursuing a career in art. Isabelle’s current pieces isolate movements of nature, time, and our own vulnerabilities. She intentionally tries not to reference a recognizable form, but more the concept, to allow for interpretation from many.

ANA HERNANDEZ-BURWELL

Ana Hernandez holds a BFA in painting, with a minor in Art History from the University of Texas in San Antonio. She exhibits her work regionally and internationally. Ana has worked on numerous public art projects in San Antonio and Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Fractured images of femininity, pop culture, and regional icons populate Ana Laura Hernández’s paintings. Born and raised on the South Texas border, Hernández draws from her experience as a first-generation American and mother in contemporary culture. Hernandez lives and works in San Antonio, Texas.

JESSICA LEAL COLLINS

Jessica Collins was born and raised in McAllen, Texas, and is a self-taught contemporary artist. Her artwork is inspired and drawn from the vibrant and energetic colors of her South Texas upbringing and the simplicity of everyday happenings. Her paintings are created to be universal and convey enjoyment and an appreciation of life.

Each piece is an assembly of jewel-tone dressings graced by heavily textured acrylics, mediums, stones, and lustrous gold leaf.
