La Cantera for Kids
Family vacations should be paradise for parents and kids alike. Parents should be able to lounge in a luxury cabana or even enjoy an indulgent couples’ spa treatment while kids romp around in the splash area or learn about local flora and fauna in the Naturalist Program. This is the basis for La Cantera’s family activities.
La Cantera has long been a beloved destination for families because it embraces both what parents need to relax and what kids need to play. When families aren’t cooling off in the pool, they can be playing games in the arcade or taking the resort shuttle to Six Flags. Pools
Kids' Pools
Make a splash in two of La Cantera's family-friendly pools. Families are welcome at the infinity-edge Resort Pool, which also features poolside Vista Grill. But families will really love the kids' pool, where kids can play in the splash zone or shoot down two slides as parents look on.
Resort Pool Cabanas
If the Resort Pool is calling your name, we have two cabanas there, too. Indulge in a VIP experience at the Resort Pool Cabanas, featuring a personal TV, refrigerator, and safe, plus fun cocktails and treats like Dippin' Dots and chicke tenders from poolside Vista Grille.
We are operating the pools at 50% occupancy on a first come first served basis. Cabanas are available by reservation. Book now.
Kids' Pool Cabanas
Family cabanas are the perfect place to spend the afternoon. Indulge in a VIP experience by renting one of the four cabanas beside the Kids' Pool. Enjoy a personal TV, refrigerator, and safe, plus fun cocktails and kid-friendly treats from neighboring Vista Grille.
Kids' Activities
Kids' Club
Discover fun activities that will inspire kids to use their imagination and creativity when it comes to nature. Inspiring themes make each session unique. Programs are for ages 4-12, reservations required 12 hours in advance. Reserve a spot at the Pool Shop or by calling 210-558-2247.
Naturalist Program
Join us for an elevated kid's club experience where we will get out and discover the nature around La Cantera Resort & Spa. $10 of proceeds from each child will benefit the San Antonio Zoo and Botanical Garden. This camp is open to kids ages 4-12 and is $65 per child. Every little explorer will receive an interactive notebook to help track their explorations around the resort.

La Cantera Arcade
Test your gaming skills on our arcade games. Kids and parents alike will love the arcade, from classic games to more modern creations. Plus, it's the perfect place to take a break from the sun. All ages are welcome. Please supervise kids 12 and under.
Hours: Daily from 8:00AM – 1:00PM & 2:00PM – 8:00PM
Sunset S'mores & Family Movie Night
Get toasty by the fire! Roast marshmallows to perfection for gooey all-you-can-eat s’mores. 20 min time slots available every night. Sign up at pool shop.
Then join us at Esparza Lawn for a free movie! Every Saturday night starting at 9PM. Consessions will be available for sale.
Memories in the Making
Join us each Saturday and Sunday for a fun arts and craft activity! Prices vary; visit the pool shop to register.
Candy Bar Bingo
Join us every Saturday for a sweet and fun-filled round of candy bar bingo! $3 per Bingo card. Visit pool shop to register.

Six Flags
Nothing calls to your inner kid quite like a theme park, especially when that park is Six Flags San Antonio. But the experience is all the better when you have your actual kids in tow. Bring the kids to La Cantera and channel all the little kid energy you’ve got for a day at Six Flags.
Every guest with a single-day ticket, group ticket, Membership, or Season Pass will be required to make a reservation for a specific visit date at sixflags.com/reserve. The process will take about 5-7 minutes, during which guests will complete the following steps:
- Enter their online order number, ticket number, or Membership/Season Pass number;
- Select the date they want to visit, and the approximate time they wish to enter the park;
- Watch a brief video that describes new social distancing and sanitization procedures;
- Acknowledge their understanding of the company’s health policy; and
- Order pre-paid parking, if they do not already have a pass.
SeaWorld San Antonio
