One of nature’s grandest spectacles—a total solar eclipse—will be visible in San Antonio and the Texas Hill County. La Cantera Resort & Spa is partnering with the University of Texas at San Antonio’s (UTSA) Department of Physics and Astronomy for the ultimate eclipse adventure and educational experience. A portion of package and event proceeds will benefit a fund dedicated to student success within the UTSA Department of Physics and Astronomy.
La Cantera Resort’s Moon’s Shadow package includes a welcome reception on Saturday April 6th; a complimentary bottle of bubbles upon arrival; breakfast daily for two; and an invite to join us at our exclusive Total Eclipse viewing party with bubbles, bites and live music on Monday, April 8th.

Staff and students from the UTSA Department of Physics and Astronomy will be on site to help guests with telescope viewing and answer questions.
Tickets are $130 for adults, $65 for children 12 and under, with $10 from every ticket sold benefiting a fund dedicated to student success within the UTSA Department of Physics and Astronomy. Parking is also included.
Eclipse glasses will be provided to all guests. Upon arrival, guests will also enjoy one complimentary cocktail for adults, soft drink for children, lite bites, culinary lunch offerings and live music by Finding Friday.
